Well, the Penguin update made it so that sites taking advantage of links, games and keyword stuffing aren’t featured prominently on the first page of the search results. Google Bird. While this update doesn’t necessarily penalize sites for bad SEO practices, it encourages content creators to write for people, not search engines, although they should have been doing that anyway. Birte took Google a step forward in how it understands language and searches. And that’s the last of the Google updates I’ll talk about. But it is certainly not the last of the Google updates.
