Here are three frequent questions I hear from attendees in our seminar, answered. One, Why is design apps becoming such a common topic now? Why the relatively sudden focus? Well, there’s good news. In many cases. Designers now have that long coveted seat at the table. We’re involved in more strategic conversations. However, we’re being asked to balance that involvement along with our day jobs of researching and designing. We have more meetings to attend or politics to navigate and more interruptions. Overall, we’re just too busy to design a lot of day’s design apps as a way to remove some of that operational thaat from our lives so that we can spend time researching and designing and doing those things better to who does design apps. Well, anyone can do design ops. You don’t need a specialized title. What’s more, many researchers, designers and managers have been doing design ups for a long time.
