A Simple Way to Generating 93% More Ad Revenue

Now, this works extremely well. I’ve tested on a lot of websites, some websites, I’m seeing even a bigger increase from this. Some websites I’m seeing a little bit less. But when you average it out, you know, the industry is getting roughly 93 percent more ad revenue from this. And I bet you you’re not using at all. So how do you make money from your publishing website right now? Well, you probably make money through ads. And if you know me, I’m not a huge fan of ads. But if you run ads along with other display ads, it actually is a very good strategy as long as you’re using the right optimization and testing.

I used to do everything manual and it was a ton of work. I’ll show you the process that I used to go through. Then eventually I ended up learning about this tool, which is now my secret weapon for any new publishing website that we acquire. Then we end up throwing it on there and it ends up helping us generate more revenue. So there’s roughly 10 million websites that are using assets. That’s a lot of websites. Just think about it, 10 million, right? That’s a big chunk of the web. Yes, I know there’s billions of websites, but majority of them literally get little to no traffic. Now, the people that are using ads and in most cases they’re getting enough traffic to monetize. But if you want to do really well with ads, is there any ad format out there? It takes a lot of testing. When you optimize your ads to really maximize them, you know, I was working with a guy named Amet. We had a website for a while called Real Cool Videos and with real cool videos, literally the amount of time we spent testing on display ads in ads. And it wasn’t a month or two. It took us like 6 to 9 months to really get it down and even a year to fully perfect it. That was because we were doing a lot of things manually. But luckily nowadays there are some tools and some processes that make things much more quicker and efficient because there’s a lot of things to test everything from ad placement. Where should your ad go on the page? Should be on the top right corner and the content side bar. Should you have multiple ad spots all sizes should use? Should they be big or small? Where should you buy your traffic from or should you do tons of CEOs converting into a lot of ad clicks? What’s the color of that? Is it should you make it blend in or should you make it stand out? Which animals will pay you less or more? How do you leverage targeting and show different people different ad types? What about density? Should you have five ad spots above the fold to one? Because if you really screw up the experience, it could also hurt your SEO as well. All these things are very, very important. And as a publisher, this is why you have to perfect everything when it comes to your ads, because if you don’t advertise, aren’t going to keep bidding more money for ads on your site. If they don’t, then you’re not going to make that much cash. This is what’s funny. See, with advertising, we manage a lot of ads at my agency, Neopets, our digital companies, no matter what ad system that they’re using, they constantly bid and treat each visitor type differently. Why is that? Because everyone converts differently. Some visitors convert more than others. Some traffic sources are better. So why don’t publishers treat ads the same way?

Because if you continually test and you treat each visitor differently and you show them different types, you can make more from your traffic, which ultimately will increase revenue. And if you make sure your experience is great, you can decrease your bounce rate, which in turn will boost your SEO as well as you create a terrible experience. You just shove ads everywhere and people don’t like it and they bounce away. It’s going to screw up your bounce rate, your page level experience, which in turn is going to decrease your rankings in the long run. Because what’s going to happen is people will Google for something, they’ll click on your listing.

If they see your ad site as too spammy, there’s going to click the back. But and that tells Google or sends a more of a signal saying, hey, this site shouldn’t rank as high. So how do advertisers bid on these sites? Well, it’s simple. They’re using real time bidding protocols. They’re going through these platforms that connect the advertiser with the seller and then, boom, they’re able to bid based on things like performance, such as conversion rate clicks, CPMs, all of those things to maximize their revenue, even things like day party. So when they do this, they’re able to then control what sites their ads are being displayed on to maximize the revenue and who they’re targeting. So let’s go over how you can optimize your ads and some of the variables that you control and some of them that you can. So when you’re running AB tests, the real simple approach is pretty much you’re comparing one variation to other. You’re comparing how ad spot in one location may do better versus a different one or a how ad. In one area is doing better or worse than the other, and you’re tweaking these teams to see which variation is going to cause you the most lift, and that’s the one that you eventually end up rolling out and making permanent because that impacts your revenue in the long run and makes you more money. But there’s some issues. There’s some things that you can control and you can’t control. Some of the things you can control when you’re testing is, let’s say, should you have navigational options on the page or not? How should you push your ads around your content, what ad types you should use, the locations, the sizes and color schemes, all these types of things. Right. And sometimes with color schemes, there’s not much in your control, but sometimes you can depending on the network and some variables that you can’t control as you can’t control what device someone’s viewing your website in. For example, if they’re coming to your website on a mobile device, why would you show them the same ads that you would when they’re on a desktop device? Why would you show them in the same format? Because that could create a terrible experience which decreases your rankings. As you know, Google has mobile first indexing. So you may not rank as high on mobile for mobile devices when they’re Googling. So that’s important, right? You want to make sure that you’re optimizing for these devices because you can’t control if they’re going on an iPhone or an Android device or a desktop. But you ideally want to make your website compatible and keep all those things in mind with browser types or the type of day time of day or if it’s a Saturday or Sunday or their connection. You know, when I was at my wife’s ranch, her parents ranch, they barely even have cell reception. Forget 4G or 5G. Heck, I can’t even get 3G. Same with geographical location. Sometimes you get traffic from other regions that aren’t easy, but there’s a lot of little things like this that you can’t control. Now, that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t be doing optimizations or testing. The first thing you’re going to want to test is an ad unit that you can’t control with one that you can’t control. For example, you want to test ads sizes with traffic source, right? You can’t control the traffic source, but you can control the ads. This will end up giving you data on what’s working or what’s not. The reason you have these variables going, ones that you can control against ones that you can’t is because you always had to keep the ones that you can’t control there because that’s consistent. So if you’re optimizing only for things you can control, that won’t work out, because in reality, the true future is you can’t control all aspects.

You have to have both the variables there to then you want to use a testing tool if you want to do it yourself and do it manually, which takes forever, use Google optimize. That’s what we use when we’re trying to do it manually. It’s free. In your Google analytics account, you can connect them. Just going through Google optimized, you can literally test pretty much anything. I’m going to break down how you do that through Google optimized. So you go into Google optimize. I want you to do is connected with your Google Analytics account, then click on your container name to get the experiments page. And once you’re there, click on Create Experiment. Of course, enter the experiment name and then enter in the page URL that you like to test. Maybe a specific article or your homepage. Then you want to click a test and then click create and then after that you want to add variants to your tests. So a variant is multiple things that you’re testing. And I’ll give you example of this. So you click create a variant and the tiger variant because I’m going to test ATI’s is three hundred by two fifty add size and then click on add, then click anywhere in the variant window to launch the optimized visual editor, then click on the web page element you wish to edit, then use the editor panel to make changes. Then you click, save and pretty much repeat these steps and then you can create a variant four for sixty eight by sixty or whatever it may be. And then you can continually test and over time you just let it run. And usually if you have a lot of volume, you can see results within a week. But for many businesses, many publishers, it takes a month to two months to really see the results. Keep in mind, when you’re running these tests, a lot of times they may look promising in the first week or first few days, but that’s because a lot of your repeat visitors are seeing something that’s different. So it does a little bit better. But then as time goes on, you’ll start seeing things normalize more. So that’s when you want to run your test longer than a few days or a week. So that way you can get true results and ideally statistical significance. Keep in mind, the ads have the ability to other ads. As I mentioned earlier, advertisers adjust their bit. Now in a study by Exotic, it was found that publishers that optimize for CPMs, their revenue often went down. So why is this? Well, ads impact the performance of other ads, and ad bids get adjusted over six to eight week periods. And that’s why I mentioned when you’re running your tests, you want to run them for a few weeks. More than a few weeks, if you want to run them for usually a month to two months, because within that period you’re going to start seeing bids getting adjusted. Remember when companies are bidding for ad placements, yes, they may be in there on a daily basis, but they’re really looking at performance over a monthly basis. And knowing how companies manage their ads allows you to better understand, hey, how many ads should you have, the locations of sizes and all these things to make sure you’re not diluting other advertisers and the other ads on your site, which will then allow you to maximize your ad placement in the most competitive areas on your site for each visitor to maximize your income. At this point, you’re probably a little confused or feeling overwhelmed, and that’s normal. And why is this?

There’s just a lot of different elements from sizes to traffic sources to what happens over time zone during economic conditions like, let’s say a virus goes down globally and ad prices all start going down and then everyone jumps in and started doing e-commerce. Ad prices start going up, but then people start changing their strategies. So how do you continue optimizers for all these different types of elements and do it fast enough? Because each minute you miss is money that you’re leaving on the table and that you’re losing. So what I end up using is this tool called a zoek. I’ve been using it for a while now. It’s a good software. It uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to optimize based on a lot of different data points. So think of it this way. When I’m optimizing my own website, I end up having visitors. Let’s say I have a million visitors month. That’s my data point. But the thing is, is market conditions change all the time. Ones if I can optimize based on three billion different data points and ones if I can optimize based on other websites within my industry and other websites that are also publishers that are just running ads in all different types of industries.

And also, though, does they take literally billions of pieces of data and I literally mean billions of pieces of data and then from there they automatically start optimizing. So the main purpose is when you end up running your tests, that can take you months, if not a year, if you’re doing everything manual. And keep in mind, it’s not about just how fast you move. It’s also about how many visitors you have. What they do is they take data points across all the different websites in your category and even in other categories. They look at all the different visitor types, what you have, what other people have they got all these data points. And instead of it taking weeks or months, it does it literally in minutes because they already have this data on what’s working and what’s not working. So in essence, what they’re doing is their ads are set up on a per visitor basis, meaning as will be delivered depending on the person who’s visit your site and looking at them.

And it takes into account user experience, which is very, very important. And I’m not a real big fan of Adkinson. I know you already know that. But the reason I’m not a fan of just randomly throwing up a lot of ads because on mobile devices it can create a terrible experience. And what I like about is OK is if they know that the experience is getting hurt, they just remove the ad from the experience and the page. So that way you’re not hurting your long term traffic, which is very, very important because the last thing you want to do is make a quick buck and then your search traffic going down in the long run. And according to small business trends, over 300 websites using a zoek for one year have shown an average revenue increase in ninety three percent in that time period. That’s huge. Look, you can either do it all manually or you can just do it all automatically as well. And when you’re optimizing your site for revenue, I recommend that you don’t just use atonce. You run multiple out platforms. That’s how you make the most money. And you can also done that. Do that through Uzelac as well, because it works with multiple ad platforms as well. And I really want you to remember that it is a game of numbers. Team marketing has changed to the person with the best data, has the most ammunition and power to win. And when you’re taking data points from billions of visitors and interactions with ads, you’re going to do better than if you try to do it all manually. The big takeaway I have for you is when you’re optimizing for ad revenue, don’t just optimize for income, optimize for revenue and user experience. And you can do that in many ways. You can do that in automatic ways to zoek or you can try to do it manually. And of course, time is money. If you want to go the long process of manually doing things you can, I recommend that you reforms and look at other communities to see what’s working for other people.

Good amount of you, how many of you guys here are companies with offers? All right, and I’m assuming some of you affiliates, once you guys get big enough, you guys create your own affairs, correct? So I wanted to do something fun in which we take a look at landing pages that you guys are familiar with and I critique because these are the landing pages that you guys are driving traffic to, whether you’re creating your own offers or you’re driving traffic to other people’s offers, you can then end up giving them these tips to boost the conversions because of the landing pages, convert better.

What does that mean? You make more money.

And I know you affiliates love that money probably more than anyone else. I know every time I go to affiliate conferences, everyone’s like, how do I make 20000 dollars a day or twenty thousand a month? Then they get like, I want to make twenty thousand a day. They get there though, like I need a hundred thousand dollars a day. It’s never ending. I was just at another affiliate event and then they asked once they got there, they’re like, how do I save the money and not pay taxes? Then everyone’s like, moved to Puerto Rico. Right.

You guys don’t have to do that. Just focus on landing page optimization. So let’s first take a look at this bad loan page. Right. People have bad credit. They need loans, and it’s hard.

This landing page has call to action, has Semtex. Handsome little, you know.

Buttons are images that show the steps, even talks about the requirements, then have some small print that’s, you know, for you guys because the screen is big, is probably easier to read, but normally it’s a bit hard to read.

Then they even have a map of where they operate. Then from there, they have the footer, you know, call to action one of getting started and that’s pretty much it. Now I know what you guys are thinking. You guys are looking at this landing page and you’re like, I know how to improve the conversions. Right. Well, there’s some basic ways, and these are my special tips, you know, something basic could be this header at the top, the scrolling nav bar, it has too many options. You remove them and you just have a button that talks about appli. You’re going to end up generating more clicks, right, versus telling them, hey, click on my account. Same with the text, some of the paragraphs are hard to read.

You can also reduce the foot or navigation options as you saw in the previous side, there is way too many options when there’s way too many options. What happens?

What happens, what do you think happens if there’s too many options?

That’s right, they click on the wrong areas, the areas that don’t make you money, you guys are affiliates. You want that money, right? Don’t send them to your Facebook page. You want to send up to your sign up or by page. And one thing they didn’t do. Let’s go back to these landing pages. Look at this. Right.

It’s a long Lannie page, but there’s not a call to actions in every area. They more so have it at the very top and they have it at the very bottom.

So those are general tips. But I’m not here to just give you general tips. In every landing page I go over. I’ll give you some general tips, but then I’ll give you some interesting things that I see. Now, does everyone know what kind of software companies I’ve created? Analytics companies? Do you know how many visits we track on a monthly basis? Over three billion. Not million. Billion with a B.. So what can other people do to really boost the conversion rates of pages like this, these lead forms? So my first tip for you guys and some of you guys have seen this. Some of you have it is to engage your visitors first. All right. You can quiz them. I used to have a nutrition site called Nutrition Secrets, and we would quiz people when we would want to collect leads, because when we told people to buy our products or opt in for a lead foreman, we would have a sales rep call until, let’s say, lose weight or whatever it may be and go for some personal coaching.

We found that, hey, people just don’t like opting in.

But if you make it customized to them, let’s say you quiz them. I’m a man. I’m a woman.

It’s more personalized, right, and then you get and you ask him questions like what are your goals and all this stuff? And then you say, all right, you want the results, march and sit in our services and our products.

Put in your email, name and email. Usually I don’t pitch. I just say, want the results put in your name and e-mail. When I show them the results, I end up saying, this is what you need if you want to achieve these goals.

Right. This simple thing versus just asking people to put in their information and collect a lead, increase my Convergys by a hundred and eight percent. That’s pretty good, right? It’s simple. And how many of you guys are technical and know how to do some engineering?

Look, the Indians are raising their hand. Good for you. We teach it in India. That’s right. But don’t waste your time. It’s inefficient. Just go use leave quizes.

Lee quizes, I don’t know what it costs. I don’t own it, it’s not my company. It’s like under a hundred bucks a month and you can just create one of these quizzes and keep churning and burning and then you can figure out what convert’s the best and generate the most leads.

Right now with this bad credit site, they can they do have an area on their site where they have a slider, where they’re asking you to engage. How much money do you want to borrow? Do you see how this is way better and having people engage versus putting on their main landing pages? Hey, here’s all about us. We do bad credit lines. Here’s areas we service. Here’s areas we don’t. You guys are affiliate marketers. You’re going to be driving traffic to areas they don’t serve. Of course not. Facebook allows you to go target. Right. And because of that, you’re not driving them irrelevant traffic. So why wouldn’t they have you engage first? And I wouldn’t just engage with this a little slider. I would then ask them more questions and then collect the lead information. Because if I waste five minutes of your time and I have you do multiple things like fill out questionnaires, know your name and email, but just all these questions about your loan, what are you looking for?

A loan for how much? And then at the end, I ask you for your information to see if you qualify. You’re going to be like, oh shucks, I wasted all this time. Might as well just give them my name, email and all my other information. That’s why engaging first really works. I also did this was one of my other companies, Hollerbach Software Company, where we help people collect emails. But I asked them, put in your you are all first. And then I had them create email collection models. And then at the end I said, Hey, do you want this to go life sign up.

I got a fifty two point eleven percent increase in sign ups because they’re like already spent all this time engaging models. We’ll just complete the rest. Right. And if you’re wondering why engaging works is because of this, what’s your name there. What’s your name. Yeah. Huh. Dennis. So, Dennis, if I want to you and I said, will you marry me? What are you going to say? Assuming I was a woman or man of your dreams, what would you say? Yes, you’re crazy. Why would you say, yes, I could be a terrorist? I could be a killer. I could be anything. I could be a clingy person. I don’t know. Right. But you get the point in most cases you’re saying yes right now, but in most cases, what would you say? No. And why would you say no? Because you don’t know me. That’s the same with your visitors. Almost all of you affiliates are trying to get people to buy, buy, buy.

And you’re just like, oh, no, I school all the skill up, you know, more accounts, get them burn and I’ll just spend thousands of dollars a day. Yeah, you can do that. But why not get people to engage first? I’ve also found that when you get them to engage first, less of your accounts get burned. Right. They’ll save you quite a bit of money if you guys are buying accounts. It’s like if you ask someone, hey, would you go on a date with me? Dennis is more likely to say yes.

Then we get to know each other. Then you end up getting married or moving in together. And then I asked him to marry me. He’s much more likely to say, yes, that’s how it works in the real world and that’s how it should work on your website. Number two, don’t use the exit popup. You’ve seen people talk about exit pop ups before, but I’m going to show you something a bit more unique. You’re lucky if three out of 100 people buy. Sometimes you guys get more, sometimes less. But in most cases, most people don’t buy. So why not collect leads, right when people are about to bounce on a desktop? What I did was I could exit pop up, but I made my background of the exit. But, Jeff, you guys are familiar with Jeff’s those images that move. And I showed him in that Jeff, what they would be putting in their name and email for my conversion went through the roof. The copy stayed the same. But just by adding a silly little Jeff, I increase my email collection by 42 percent. That’s crazy, right? And then you do remarketing and you get people to start buying.

I don’t know what it is about the marketers. Most of them just want people to buy collect emails.

For all the people who are going to leave, it’s a great way to generate more sales.

And here’s a crazy one for all of you guys who love mobile, this is the highest curdy converting lead opt in that I’ve seen on mobile. This is for a site that teaches you how to, like, grow your wealth. And it says, how rich or how rich are you ready to be? So the slider is dollar signs. And like, I’m on my iPhone and I know the screenshots Geto. I’m too cheap to buy a nice iPhone. I still have the five and you have to slide all the way with dollar signs and once it goes to the end, you can click the button. That little simple trick accounts for a sixteen percent of the leads. Now, let’s go over the next landing page. Have you guys all heard of Babul, the company where you do translations, you learn different languages, the landing page they like using blog post ten of your affiliates. How many do you guys drive traffic to? I don’t know what you guys call them, like those blog posts, those fake content sites that you guys create that say, like CNN and then you remove all the navigation and stuff. You guys know what I’m talking about right here? Look at Dennis. He’s laughing. How many times you do that a day? A lot. I met someone yesterday. He’s like, yeah, I have a whole team of four people. I’m like, what are they? Do they do all the mediabank. He’s like, no, no, no. They just create fake stories so and so was ready to double down casino. And what happened next will shock you, right?

I made that up. Don’t we get Jack in that? If you do, give me my affiliate break on that. I’m kidding. You guys can keep it.

But this page keeps going. It’s just content. Content. Let’s go back and some ads on the sidebar. Look at this. Articles you may like. Right. They’re showing you other articles and then comments. So some basic tips. Sticky navigation doesn’t have a benefit. It just has bribable. Why should I try it? There’s no benefit in there. This is all basic stuff. Remove articles. You may like section. Why would you send them to another article when you wanted to get them to buy? Write another basic tip, highlight the comments that are the best ones and of course have called to actions within the blog content.

If people are reading your blog content, that’s where their eyes are going. Your call to action shouldn’t just be in your sidebars. Put them in your blog content. You’ll get like three to four times more clicks. It’s the simplest thing. I don’t know why people don’t do this all basic shit. So now let’s go over what I would have done if I was them again. I’ll always give you my unique tips. So my third unique tip for you is use GOP. You know, all those dating sites. You feel warm and fuzzy because you’re like you see Kopi, let’s say if there’s match Bangkok, I don’t know what dating site they have here are Match.com.

There are one million 632 single people in Bangkok. What are you waiting for? You see, when they do that warm, fuzzy GOP targeting within their copy of convert’s better? Right. And of course, here’s another example from a guy who sells people how to make money online. I’m determined to create a millionaire trader in Las Vegas. My only question is, will it be you people started going out there like I’m in Henderson.

It’s right outside of Vegas. Do I can I still qualify? Please, please let me in. Expedia uses this when I’m on Expedia and I was in Los Angeles, automatically populate Los Angeles. It showed me flights to New York. Right. And it even shows me details below of the most common flights I’m probably likely to take because I’m in Los Angeles. No one’s in like Bangkok and be like, oh, I want to book a flight from Vancouver, Canada to Los Angeles. Right. They’re usually going to leave from the city there and not always. But in most cases, this all helps these conversions. So we tested this on five landing pages and increase sales by anywhere from twelve point four nine to twenty seven point five seven percent.

Now, if I was Babul and this is the example, I’ll give her Babille, why don’t they include products based on IPPs, for example, in Brazil? You know what? The most common language that they want to speakers, as I did the screenshot of Babbo when I was in Brazil, they should have shown me English as the main language. Only two or three percent of people in Brazil speak English. It’s the most common language that they want to learn because then they can make money on outwork and all these sites and then have the money in Brazil. But they should be showing me the products that I most likely want to learn based on where I’m coming from my computer’s IP. Right. And that’s what Babul should have done. But they did it. They should have shown the most popular languages based on IP. Simple way to boost conversions.

Next one at a check up on this is simple. It’s easier to get up cells than it is to get new cells. Tell all of your, you know, people that you’re driving traffic to to add a checkout bump.

So on the checkout page, this doesn’t decrease conversions, right?

When they’re buying off from a really sweetheart deal where they’re getting a steep discount and you’ll notice that you get roughly 15 percent more in revenue if these affiliates or these companies can get more revenue from their pages, what does that mean for you as a affiliate? You can get paid out more money or if you have your own products at checkout bumps, you can pay the affiliates out the same money and pocket more profit.

So the trick with Checo bumps is speed and automation at the checkout bump helps them get the product, the service, the results faster and a more automated way it can work better. Why is that? People are lazy. Write your check up should be priced at 50 percent or lower of the main product. You’re selling a product for 100 bucks. You can sell a check bump, but for no more than 50 bucks, it has to be cheaper than 50 dollars. Right. If you can explain the benefit in the checkout bump in one sentence, it’s not going to do well. Keep it simple.

And it has to be largely discounted. Ideally, what I’m saying is, let’s say one hundred dollar product. I like my check. Bump’s being like 30 bucks. It’s simple, it’s easy, people buy that shit. How many of you guys are going to start adding checkout bumps to your product pages?

Only a few of you. You got to start adding a. I’ll make a bet with you guys.

All right, if any of you use this guy or use these tips and you can’t get an increase in conversions, I will give you free advice. I will get on the phone and I’ll help you guys out for free. And keep in mind, I have companies like Google AdWords who pay me to market Google AdWords. I get paid by Facebook to speak at their conferences. I will give you free advice on whatever you want if you actually take these tips and try implementing them. Is that a fair deal?

That means I’m that confident that this shit works. So now let’s go over another product landing page that you guys are familiar with, how many of you guys like selling wrinkle cream? Only a few of you or have in the past, you guys, like, know, we moved on to Flashlight’s.

All right, so wrinkle creams, you see this landing page, it keeps going and going and going and going and going and going. Look at that. Bye. And it’s kind of small for the page. That’ll be one of my tips and going. And going look at this form, field’s name and phone is hard to read, right? They could have made a little bit better, why the heck are they putting United States there and having the damn product being sold in pounds? Right. Basic tips by buttons should be larger. Pricing should be in their currency that the person’s coming from. Ford Field, Texas, hard to read and islanding landing page was hard to read on a mobile phone.

Make it hard for people to buy. How many you guys are familiar with instant checkmate.

None of you. All right, good, so instant check me is a site that gives background checks.

You know, you’re dating this guy or girl meets. You guys are affiliates, you’re dating this girl. So you go through instant checkmate and they just put up a ton of roadblocks. They just keep saying, like, oh, the they just keep giving you more and more pages over finding more information. We’re doing a deep dove. What we’re showing you may scare you. Are you OK with this? And they make you wait like a few minutes when you wait a few minutes and they say what you may find may scare you, what are you going to do? You’re probably going to put in your information and pay, especially because you love this girl and you are you ready to propose to her, which I showed you. You don’t do, right? And you’re going to put in all this information to start spending money.

So it converts really well, why? Because you made people go through hoops, if you make people work for shit, they’re much more likely to convert. Mike Chang also did the same with his six pack shortcuts. Are you guys familiar with Mike Chang? He’s have all these ads on YouTube saying Beiste fitness products. And then he went to this hippie dippy conference about like life and spirituality, which there’s nothing wrong with if you believe in it. I’m not saying I do or I don’t. And then he decided to, like, stop selling all this shit. But we took this on a few sites where he made it harder for people to purchase instead of just letting them buy, like skincare. We would just be like, OK, what are your goals? How old are you? What kind of environment do you live in is a dry, moist, right? What are your skincare goals? Do you have issues with your eyes? Ask him all these questions and then saying, oh, you qualify.

I to sort of make change sight. I didn’t follow shit and I clicked the Bible and he’s like, congratulations. You qualify to buy her product. No matter what I filled out, I qualify.

Test this on five sites, one decrease in sales by thirty four point six three percent, and the other four increase in sales all the way up to fifty eight point eight six. Not too shabby. Right. Test this out. Now, number six, copy tweeks have the biggest impact in conversions if I’m doing a skincare site. You guys have big landers, there’s one thing you need to know, and I do a ton of copywriting and I’ve paid some of the best copywriters, literally 60, 70, 100 grand just for a landing page. Right. And out of all the data I’ve analyzed because I analyze a shitload of data. I’ve learned that eight out of 10 people read your headline, but only two out of 10 people will read the rest of your landing page. It’s all in the headline. Yes, the rest of the copy is important, but it starts with the headline. You got a headline. You’re going to have shit conversions. So here’s some quick headline rules, numbers and negative words increase. Click the rate right and reads, Not only does it increase rates because doing organic ACA, which some of you are using to keep them under 65 characters for research, might as well get some extra search traffic.

Make your headlines, match the content. If it’s deceiving, you’re going to get a big falloff from the purchase order numbers performed better than even. Don’t ask me why, but from everything we’ve tested, we’ve seen that six word headlines convert extremely well and avoid words with multiple meanings and of course, use powers and adjectives. So fun, effortless, incredible. Right. So and here’s some general copy tweaks. Evoking curiosity is a strong way to generate clicks and sales. What’s your name?

Good work, couloir, I’m Indian, I should be able to say this, OK, good, right, good enough. All right, quick double down casino and what happened next will shock you, that’s curiosity. You’re much more likely to quit double down casino and, you know, if they’re playing double down casino, right, they’re much more likely to buy your casino offer. You also want to make sure you’re writing in a conversational tone. With copy, if you’re not using the words you and I, it doesn’t feel as personal, it doesn’t convert as well using the words you and I makes it personal and people like, oh, my God, this copy’s written just for me. You don’t want to be too Scelzi, because it hurts conversions. You want to make your copy clear, dark, I don’t know why people like using these fancy, like landing pages with all this pink stuff. I understand the product from the audience, but if they made their copy easier to read on mobile phones, they would convert better. You also want to make sure your mobile landing pages are amp friendly or you guys familiar with AMP, AMP makes the landing pages load way faster, which boosts conversions. And of course, you want to answer objections so you can use tools like Wallaroo to ask some questions, like if they’re on your page for like five minutes because they’re most likely not ready to convert. What did you come to the site for? Did we help solve what you’re looking for? Ask him simple questions will help you understand what objections they have and then making your copy, answering each of their objections. Because you guys drive so much traffic, just look for the most common ones. That’s the best way to boost your sales. Answered objections on one of my sites through copy boosted conversions by 14 percent. Just one little simple objection. Why should we pay you guys instead of your competitors? It’s really simple. Now they can do that on the skin care products, right? Beauty answer objections. Now let’s look at the last landing page. VPN solutions. Get your free VPN boom. Here’s the rest of the landing page. A short sweet doesn’t have to be too long. Now, basic feedback is not everyone knows what a VPN is, so she had to make it more basic, they should let people know that it’s easy to use. They should consider creating a short video explaining the VPN process. Right, instead of this image on the top left. I understand privacy related, but you can have the thumbnail of the video do the same thing. And what’s the catch, why is it free people are going to be wondering this, so you’re going to lose a lot of people there. Now, here’s what I would do if I had the VPN page evoke fear. And some of your guys is products. You can scare the shit out of people and make them buy. So here’s what this VPN page has snooper’s and hackers can trace you by your IP address and actually did this for a VPN company, it wasn’t these guys, but I changes copy. One of my buddies owns a VPN offer.

And right there, I put shit like.

People are spying on you. We know that this is your IP address, you live in Berlin, Germany, you use a MacBook MacBook Pro and you enjoy surfing the Web at all times that night, especially at nighttime. It’s this time in your time zone that scares the shit out of people. And I would end up being like, and this is just scratching the surface of what we know about you want to stop this, use this free VPN so we and other people can’t trace you.

You see how that scares people. Don’t you think that’ll get people to download your product? Of course, the Wolf, when we did it on the VPN site, conversions were up by thirty nine point fourteen percent. That’s crazy. All we did is just showcase the person’s information based on their IP.

And we went really hardcore specific, like we even made judgments being like, you love browsing the web using Safari, you’re really loyal to Mac products or like if they had Chrome, you love using Google, right? You’re loyal to Google products such as Google Search and Chrome by making it creepy.

Conversions went up and my last bonus tip asked your customers and visitors for a favor. All right.

So when you’re collecting e-mails from your offers and most of your affiliates don’t do this, I don’t understand why, because most of your traffic isn’t going to convert. Start dripping them with free information, such as being like, I’ll give you this bonus if. You do X, Y and Z for me, and the subject line I use is I need a favor, can you help? Plus some good news and I just write an email that just basically says something like, hey, you know, hey, John or Hey, Dennis, I have a favor that I’m asking for you. I want to help the world look more youthful. I have this amazing skincare product and no, I’m not here to sell you on it.

But instead, what I want to do is I want to have you help me and educate the world on this product. And in exchange, I’ll send you a free sample. All you have to do is pay shipping. But all I ask is in favor is for you to let other people know about this offer and share this link on your Facebook and Twitter and yada, yada, yada. And it’s really simple. You start getting people to share and they email you back saying, oh my God, this is amazing. And then they write blog post talking about how you’re awesome and then boom, you get more traffic and more sales. Funny enough, traffic hasn’t gone up much, but when someone recommends a product or service, I found that we got an extra six point four, one percent increase in sales. And when I meant traffic didn’t go up in much, when you have a million plus visitors that you’re driving or you’re getting, you’re not going to notice a big traffic increase. But the people who come from this, they do extremely well when it comes to converting from visitor to a purchaser. So that’s it. And now let’s get into some Q&A.

And this landing page has call to action, has Semtex.

Don’t ask me why, but from everything we’ve tested, we’ve seen that six word headlines convert extremely well and avoid words with multiple meanings and of course, use powers and adjectives.

I thought I would do something that’s a bit more interesting today. Now, quick question, the clock clock is a presentation or Q&A included? Either way, I think it’s just presentation. All right, so today I want to do something a bit interesting, right? This is my Twitter handle. You can tweet me if you have questions. But what I wanted to do is how many of you guys are here? Our affiliates.

And this landing page has call to action, has Semtex.
